Hosts & Educators: Aida & Tim Glowik
Languages: mainly English (German speakers also welcome)

What's included: Workshop & group discussions, portfolio-building photo sessions with a model couple, Personal Branding Portraits (Headshots): You will get a 30 minute photo session with either Aida or Tim that you can use for your website and social media, accommodation & transport during the retreat and main meals (we will cook together and break bread together).
Bonus: You get a 1 hour 1:1 mentoring session via Zoom with either one of us within 6 months after the retreat (valued at 300 Euros).
This allows us to follow-up with you and support you in implementing your learnings from the workshops!

Participants: Limited to max. 6 attendees.
We want to create a very personalized experience with enough 1:1 time.
This also allows for enough time for having individual time during the portfolio-building photo session.

Payment: Payment can either be made in full right away or we can arrange a payment plan, if needed.

Aida is the host of My Wedding Season - The Podcast and the creator of My Wedding Season Planner.
She is passionate about helping wedding photographers in several areas of running a wedding photography business: branding & marketing, organisation & productivity systems as well as income generating business strategies.

Tim has been a wedding photographer for over a decade and is the one that build the business from the ground up.
His skills in SEO has enabled us to show up on the first page of Google with multiple websites. He also has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the technical aspects of photography.

VAL D’ORCIA

PORTFOLIO-BUILDING LOCATION

For the portfolio-building portion of the retreat, we will drive about 1 hour south to the area of Val d’Orcia.
Val d’Orcia is located in the heart of Tuscany - it is a picturesque region filled rolling hills adorned with vineyards, golden wheat fields, and iconic rows of cypress trees that stretch as far as the eye can see.

There are also a number of historic villages and towns scattered throughout the area, such as Pienza, Montalcino, and Montepulciano, offer charming backdrops for stunning photographs: cobblestone streets, flower-adorned balconies, and ancient squares.
We unfortunately can’t make it to all the gorgeous spots, but will try to visit at least one of the villages.
This area is also popular amongst filmmakers - it was the set of “The English Patient” and “Gladiator”.

As a wedding photographer, showcasing beautiful images taken with a couple in the area of Val d'Orcia will certainly elevate your portfolio and help attract couples getting married in Italy. Like the saying goes “you book what you show”.

We have booked a house at a vineyard in Bucine: Fattoria Casabianca | Fraschetta
For the normal ticket price, you get your own room.
If you book a ticket with a friend/partner and both of you are okay with sharing a room with two separate beds, you both get a 100 Euros + 19% VAT reduction on your tickets.
If you would like to join our retreat as a team, you can purchase the second ticket for a reduced price (contact us).
You will need to share a room.
